well, they had beer and sausage at the finish line.
i hadn’t run at all in three weeks as the left knee decides whether it wants to retire, so i had low expectations anyhow. i went out as hard as i could for the first mile and managed a sub 11, but then strolled my way in. disappointed? not really. a decent training run and a lot of fun seeing the 200 frida costumes. back to the drawing board. that’s the fun thing about running. you never seem to figure it out. maybe it’s better not to try. just run.
