6 miles (11:46)

 what if you just ran 6 miles every day? no short runs, no long runs, no days off, just 6 miles? then maybe a 14 miler on the long day?  50 miles a week? no thinking, no flopping back and forth, no cutback weeks and 20 mile runs and recovery days. just 6 miles. an hour of escape without the worries and intimidation of a plan looming overhead? what if you just ran 6 miles every day? no worries about pace; just running purely on feel. i’m on the third day (11:46) purely by accident. it’s 3 miles to selena’s joint, so it’s just been happening as part of Selena Week. but it makes me wonder what if? it’s a long enough distance to feel like a quality run, but short enough that it’s an easy recovery for the next day. an hour of zen. and who can argue with 50 mile weeks?
